As students move into Year 10, they enter the final two years of their GCSE studies. 

All students in Year 10 and 11 study the compulsory subjects of: 

• English
• Welsh
• Maths
• Science
• Ethics and Philosophy 
• Physical Education 

Towards the end of Year 9, students will choose which 3 of the 5 optional subjects they have been studying to take forwards into their final GCSE studies.
